Many Firsts

We are enjoying all the "firsts" from being first time parents and enjoying our first baby girl and all the firsts she has already brought into our lives.

At the end of February we started one Saturday out with our first family workout. Workout should be used lightly as I was basically only able to muster the strength and endurance to run from one stop light to the next. City living is great for those who are trying to get in shape as it is not a sign of weakness if one has to stop at stoplights, rather a sign of safety. Adaline slept throughout our entire "run" and was ready to eat again once we returned home.

We later continued our day with some more firsts like our first family road trip. We ventured up to Milwaukee where we toured a brewery and got unlimited samples of some delicious root beer. The brewery tour was a first for us too. And then we went to Adaline's first NBA basketball game. I didn't go to my first NBA game until I was like 25 years old and Adaline went when she was 2 months old. The Milwaukee Bucks were having a faith and family night and about 75 people from our Stake went up so Mr. Bluth spent most of the game walking around our section showing off our little goose. We also got to shoot a free throw ball after the game which I of course missed. Mr. Bluth also missed, but he was pretty close and he shot while holding a sleeping baby.

As you can imagine, Mr. Bluth and I were far more excited about these first things than Adaline. We can't wait for more adventures with our little Goose!
