It's All Coming Back To Me Now

Mrs. Bluth recently had a friend who with her husband was trying to decide on two job offers; one in Portland and the other in Chicago. She went to social media to ask for opinions on the pros and cons on both locations and one commentator said that Portland is way better than Chicago because it has beach and Chicago does not.

Chicago does have a beach and we are already making good use out of it on our Saturdays.

This past Saturday we put our towels down close to another couple and we ended up having the best spot on the beach. The other couple had speakers and their play mix consisted of selections from our favorite latin musicians and Celine Dion. Nothing beats basking in the sun with Marc Anthony and Celine Dion in the background.

When Celine's song, "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" came on, it was a rush down memory lane for Mrs. Bluth as she remembered dancing and attempting to sing all those words with her friend Marissa.
With the song blaring, all the words to "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" came back to Mrs. Bluth.

For the past four months, Mrs. Bluth has been taking a ballet class. It started out as something to do on Mondays night when Mr. Bluth had classes until 10:00pm, but then an amazing deal and an incredible teacher keeps the Mrs going back for more. Unfortunately the athleticism, grace, and ability have not all come back to Mrs. Bluth, but the desire and love of dancing has all came back.

The teacher is by far the best of the best and for being a 50 year old guy, his leg extensions can motivate anyone to work harder in class. One cannot forget to mention that he can find something to correct in any movement, even a simple tendu.

The classes are held in the one of the many architectural gems in Chicago in the old St. Nicholas School located in Ukrainian Village. And yes, the Ukrainian and/or Russian alphabet covers the walls in this old building.

Moral of this blog post…if you want to actually look forward to a Monday, take a ballet class or do something that you love even if you have not done it for a long time. Parts of it will come back to you.
