Christmas 2014

There is no place like home for the Holidays.

Excuse me if I repeat the following phrase multiple times throughout this short post. We spent Christmas in Idaho and it was filled with all those things Christmas is made up of and it was the first time Mr. Bluth had been to Idaho since we got married. It would have been mine had I not been blessed with attending my grandfather’s funeral in November. I think I may nudge the idea of going to Idaho again next Christmas some more, but Mr. Bluth is set on a destination Christmas kick (Padres – are you in?!). Even though, the Mr. and I are becoming more and more established out here in Chicago, there is still a strong sense of home in Idaho. Like any trip to Idaho, we spent lots of time at the Rec Center, eating delicious food and last minute adventures such as bowling and late night movies. Oh and I can’t forget to mention that my parents threw us a party. Mr. Bluth has always been impressed with how many friends my parents have and the little party that we had really showed him that the Lee’s are more than just a little social.

The week went by too quickly, I realized that my nieces and nephew are growing and changing like weeds, and we were surrounded with feelings of love as we were together as a family, celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Maybe one day we will get a real Christmas tree.

No one wears Hello Kitty better than this little girl!

Sure wish we could have captured the Lee family Christmas Caroling on video as we performed one of the bests "12 Days of Christmas" renditions.

Finally Layne stopped moving for a picture!

Life was practically complete when Krystal got long hair so she could be Elsa.
